  • Q: What is the UnEarthed Private Client AutoTrading Service?  Plus other questions relating to the AT service...
  •

I am thrilled that technology has advanced to enable clients to participate in trades immediately rather than the old fashioned signal service that required clients to place their own trades sometime after a report has been created and sent.  The older signal service methods disadvantages were delayed trade entry, incorrect trade placement through human error of clients disyphering trade alerts, or missed trades altogether when markets move too fast.

Clients can enjoy immediate trade transaction replications through a Multi Terminal link from the Professional Traders account (Ingela Troha ASIC Rep: 131346) to your own personal account.

Q: How do I link my account to the Multi Terminal?

Clients are required to have a GoMarkets MT4 Trading Account to link to the terminal.  Click here to open a live GoMarkets Trading Account.  Ensuring you state "Ingela Troha" as the Referrer on your application.  Plus a POA form must be signed and returned with application to GoMarkets.

Q: What is the minimum starting balance to fund my account?

GoMarkets do not have a minimum starting balance, but I suggest a balance of no less than $2,000 starting.  This is so that the money management can enter into position sizing that does not exceed a 1-3% maximum risk per trade.

Q: What risk management do you use?

I determine the position sizing relevant to each individual client balance so that each trades risk does not exceed on average a 1-3% potential loss of each clients account balance at the time.  For example if the clients current account balance is $10,000 that means the maximum potential loss at that time is around $100 - $300 per trade.  Returns are compounded using this type of position sizing and risk calculation.

Q: What is the maximum Draw Down strategy used?

I aim to never exceed a maximum of 10-20% maximum account drawdown strategy.

Q:  Can I cancel the trading at any time?

Yes, trading on your account can be cancelled by calling either UnEarthed Financial or GoMarkets.

Q:  What currency can I fund my GoMarkets trading account with?

AUD, USD, EUR and GBP dollars.

Q:  What currency pairs are traded?

Only the Forex Majors:  EURUSD, USDJPY, AUDUSD, USDCHF, USDCAD and GBPUSD.

Q:  What leverage amount shall I open my GoMarkets account with?

    100:1 leverage.

Q: What is the UnEarthed Private Client Robot Trading Service?

UnEarthed Financial also provides Private Clients with the use of two of our private collection trading systems.  These automated trading robots monitor all functionalities of the trade on behalf of the trader (position sizing, money management, entries, exits, take profit, final exits etc).  They trade intra-day on the EURUSD 1 hour charts.

    The results speak for themselves.

    Robot 2:   http://www.myfxbook.com/members/21CenturySec/ctf-robot/69232

Q:  Do robots perform better on Demo accounts to Live accounts?

I always run live and demo accounts side by side and it is important to realise that demo accounts don’t always get better results.  Here is an example...a demo account may enter at 1.3100 with a stop loss at 1.3000 (100 pips)...where the live, which is prone to slippage may enter a little lower at 1.3096 (4 pips different) and its stop loss is therefore 100 pips away at 1.2996.   The market may go against the traders falling to 1.2999 stopping out the demo trade but leaving the live trader in the market... now if this trade rallies back upward into profit the live trader finishes the trade with a profit whereas the demo realises the loss.

See what I mean...  just because it is a demo doesn’t mean it displays any better results...sometimes the slight slippage works for you.  I have witnessed many trades different between demos and live with varying success on both parts.

Q: What sets UnEarthed apart from its competitors?

We do not see the other companies who provide the same service as 'competitors'.  We are thrilled there are more out there with the same vision as ourselves, who are also providing a proactive service for people to utilise professional strategies enabling them to profit from the financial markets.  Those other companies are likely to have different investment strategies and philosophies, so we believe the consumer needs to take the time to find the service that best suits their own personality and investment style, to see who will best assist them to achieve their investment goals & objectives.

UnEarthed identifies with people who wish to simplify their lives and reduce the complexity & added pressures of today.  We understand most people have become caught up in the whirlwind of societies demands but desire to spend more time with loved ones and fulfilling activities.  We know the financial market is certainly a vehicle that, paired with the right tools and strategies, can provide the flexibility and freedom many people seek.

    We have also identified that most people fall under one of the following two categories;

    • They are an inexperienced investor who feels overwhelmed and is finding it hard to identify what is and what is not important admist the masses of information available in the financial markets.
    • They are an experienced investor/busy professional who does not have the time to monitor markets regularly and therefore misses many investment opportunities.

With all this in mind, our goal is to provide the complete financial market Investment Solution for both types of investors to gain a leg up into the investment world and leverage off our market expertise.

Q: What markets does UnEarthed specialise in?

We specialise in Forex - (foreign exchange market).  The reason I now only focus on this market is because this is the only market I trade.  Watching and reporting on too many markets (Top 100 stocks for Australia and the USA, plus all major Indices, and Commodities) took away from my own goal of time freedom.  Plus also during the Global Financial Crisis we were only giving recommendations on 'short' trades and when the Govt put out the 'short selling ban' it limited our trading opportunities... and we dont believe going 'long' in a falling market is a good idea.  The Forex market could not have such limitations put on it - so we believe we can provide better trades and opportunities by focusing on the one market.

Q: What is UnEarthed investment philosophy?

"Never forget: the secret of creating riches for oneself is to create them for others."
    Sir John Templeton
1912-2008, Mutual Fund Pioneer and Philanthropist

Our philosophy is to keep investing simplistic, so that the inexperienced, with no or limited knowledge, right through to the 'time poor' busy professional can still include the financial markets as an integral component to their investment portfolio.

Some people hold the belief that to invest in the financial markets you need a lot of time to sit in front of computer screens all day.  This is definitely not correct.  There are many ways to make money from the market, one investor can profit trading a 10 minute chart and so can another investor who buys and sells on average every 10 months.  What we ask, is who has the better lifestyle?  Our Trading Plans keep investing as close as possible to what could be considered a 'passive income', (meaning minimal effort for return), without being a buy and forget investor.

Read more on our philosophy in About Us.

Q: Can subscription costs be claimed as a tax deduction?

Subscription fees can normally be claimed as a tax deduction.  However, we do suggest that you always check your personal situation with your tax specialist.

Q: Can I join under my Self Managed Super Fund or Company?

We can provide tax receipts in the name of your SMSF or Company, however the subscription must be under the name of an individual.

Q: Isnt the Forex market risky?  Isn’t it gambling?

Well it depends on what your definition of gambling is.

Putting your money into any new business or venture without knowledge or set of strategies (business or trading plan) is definitely gambling.

Investing into any investment vehicle whether it is a new business, the share market, real estate etc, without a tested set of strategies which include specific guidelines of money and risk management is definately gambling.  Successful business practice and investing results from having a set of guidelines (a Trading Plan) to invest by that takes out the guesswork.  Guidelines that let you know when to buy, when to sell, and when to do nothing at all.  They enable you to relax and wait for the right time where you need to do something.

There are many strategies you can use within the Forex Market that can make it predictable and safe. Such as diversifying across different currency pairs, never risking too much of your capital on any one trade, ALWAYS trading with a Stop Loss (knowing your worst case scenario exit price), all these minimise the risk you are exposed to.

These are just an overview of what the professionals use that enables them to succeed through the various market conditions.

Q: What makes an individual a Master Investor?

There a hundreds of Trading Plans that return brilliant results, but they aren't worth a pinch of salt if the investor doesn't follow it with patience & discipline.  You can have 2 different people using the same Trading Plan but obtain two very different results.  Why is this?

The reason for the different results comes down to the mindset of the individual (investment psychology). The fundamental qualities that every Master Investor possesses is patience & discipline to follow their Trading Plan, focus, the ability to make quick decisions, the ability to disconnect from others view points, have great emotional control, is very risk adverse, takes full responsibility for their actions, and treats their share investing like a business.

A great Trading Plan and Investor Psychology go hand in hand for SUCCESS in the Forex market.

Q How much money can I make from the market?

Some people have unrealistic expectations from the market, where they think they can become millionaires overnight, and unfortunately do something silly that causes them to lose money, where they then blame the market and tell everyone that the market is for 'gamblers'.

The market certainly has virtually unlimited potential. Figures quoted say it transacts anything up to $50 trillion dollars every single day.

Now to consistently obtain and retain a portion of this, Investors need to firstly have reasonable objectives with a proven trading plan (with consistent results) where strategies are followed with patience and discipline.   Huge profits can be made, but lost just as quick for the impatient investor. It is important to be patient, consistent and disciplined to follow your trading plan/recommendations.  Market conditions can change quickly so it is crucial to be adaptable and not get too elated and emotionally involved. (When an investor abandons their trading strategies in Fear, Hope, Greed or Ego they can quickly become undone). Leave your emotions at the door.

    Q: What about losing money?

Losing money is a guaranteed part of the process when making money from the Forex Market.  It is perfectly comparable to the 'expenses' of running a business.  And like in any business, minimising this component is important to remain 'in business'.

Q: UnEarthed uses Technical Analysis with quality Blue Chip Stocks, so what is Technical Analysis?

UnEarthed has its own unique Trading Plan using a select group of technical analysis tools with quality blue chip stocks, which are generally fundamentally sound companies.

Technical analysis is a method of evaluating securities by analysing statistics generated by market activity, past prices, and volume. Technical analysts do not attempt to measure a security's intrinsic value; instead they look for patterns and indicators on stock charts that will determine a stocks future performance.

Technical analysts believe that the historical performance of a stock is a strong indication of future performance. The use of past performance should not come as a big surprise, people using fundamental analysis have always looked at the past performance by comparing financial data from previous quarters and years to determine future growth.

The difference lies in the technical analyst’s belief that securities move with very predictable trends and patterns. These trends continue until something happens to change the trend, and until this change occurs, price levels are predictable.

We like to describe the markets as a battle between two sides. Bulls vs Bears! After investors have digested all the information they possibly can...everything boils down to two actions…BUY or SELL.

If there are more buyers than sellers, the market will move up……likewise if there are more sellers than buyers, the market will move down. This is known as the supply & demand theory.

Only a chart can show us who is actually providing this driving force, through trends, volume & other indicators and only a chart can show us where to buy and sell securities….otherwise known as entry and exit points.

This is the all important key to successful investing whether for short term gain or for long term growth.

    Q: What is the Forex?

A very good client and friend of mine asked her teenage daughter what the Forex was, and her reply was....."Beer!" ( that is because the only thing she knew of that resembled that word was a famous Australian Beer - XXXX, so in essense she was right!  It certainly gave me a chuckle).

The Forex, also known as the Foreign Exchange, FX, 4X and Currency Market is the largest of the financial markets.

Simply put it is the comparison of one currencys value against another.  What they would be exchanged for at that precise moment in time.  Like when you go on holidays to another country you exchange your home currency for the countrys that you are visiting.

Below is an snippet from my free Forex Ebook. Register here if you would like a copy emailed to you.

The foreign exchange, as we know it today, has changed significantly over the past 100 years due to the amount of speculators coming to the market after WWII.  ‘Speculators’ are traders who are purely involved only to profit from the price movement of the currencies.

Today the Foreign Exchange is the largest most liquid and most critical financial services market in the world.  It transacts over an astounding $3 TRILLION dollars daily.  This is a figure that most of us cannot really comprehend. But it highlights that the Forex market could never disappear or easily be manipulated for any period of time, simply for its sheer size. This assures honesty within the market prices.

With the invention of the internet and technologies, it has and still will only get bigger as the world becomes ‘smaller’ and more interconnected with goods and services being traded at faster speeds.

Plus the accessibility for the average person to trade it has further promoted its enormous and rapid growth. Traders can trade via their laptops or mobile phones to check their accounts any time they wish, with full control over their positions for entries, exits and changes.

Historically, the foreign exchange market was a fairly closed market dominated by large corporations, banks, governments and the extremely wealthy. Now anyone with a few hundred to a thousand dollars is able to get involved.

Q: Why are you selling the Trading System (Crashthrough Forex) which you trade with yourself?

It is important to me that I walk the talk. I wouldnt want to be selling a system that I dont regularly trade or have traded myself.  That would otherwise make me a sales person rather than a professional trader.

Once I had developed the Crashthrough Forex Trading Plan I was amazed at how simple a system can be. I have seen so many traders spend thousands of dollars on complicated courses, overwhelmned with bucket loads of analysis on their charts, that their judgement becomes clouded, they get paralysis of analysis, then start to question their understanding and application of it, and finally throw it in the "too hard" basket.

I also heard a wise teacher once say, that the best way to know if you truly understand something, is if you can teach it to someone else so that they fully understand it.

This trading system (Crashthrough Forex) is also one of the Robots available to all members (Robot 2).

    Regards Ingela

Q: Can you recommend a Charting Software package?

I have used Market Analyst Software for over 10 years now and highly recommend them.  They also use the features that I teach within the courses.  Their package includes the software and data, plus portfolio manager.  I really like their training function that assist with backtesting systems so it seems more like a live market.
